Commercial/Industrial Buildings: CT & Associates Engineering Inc. regularly conducts geotechnical investigations to assess the client site and develop design recommendations and construction guidelines for site development. These range from conventional CRU’s, to high-rise buildings, to industrial complexes covering 30 acres of land.

Subdivision Developments: Provision of geotechnical engineering evaluations, environmental
assessments and material testing services for subdivision developments in the greater Edmonton area. The scope of work included slope stability evaluation for building construction, design of storm water management facilities, provision of site grading and roadway construction guidelines, and monitoring of fill compaction.

Slope Stability Evaluation and Remediation: Provision of river and ravine slope
stability analyses to define building setback distance for subdivision developments, residential homes, towers, and building construction, and also to provide remedial measures for sites with slope stability issues.

Pavement Evaluation and Remediation: Provision of evaluations for existing pavement structure conditions and the provision of pavement remedial measures or the development of new replacement structure recommendations.

Geotechnical Coal Mining Effect Studies : Conducted various studies to evaluate potential effects from previous coal mining operations to ensure subsurface soil and bedrock competency during building construction and occupancy.
